Summer Fair @ Hexham....

The Summer Fair @ Hexham returns to Wentworth Leisure Centre, Hexham, Northumberland for its fifth year on 

FRIDAY 16th August & SATURDAY 17th August  2013

( Please note the change of days )

Open from 10am daily

This year a special entrance will be created to the Indoor Marquee beside the Bowling / Cafe entrance...

thus eliminating the long walk through the Leisure Centre from the main entrance.

Art, Craft, Gift and Food stalls to browse,

 Cool crafting workshops with Sarah Peel....for the inner creative, 

Young and old.

Cafe all weekend,

Bowling and swimming for the energetic,

And of course the historic market town of Hexham to explore.

Whatever the weather....we will be under cover!

Lowther Castle and Gardens

 The spectacular setting of Lowther Castle and Gardens, Penrith, Cumbria ( on the edge of The Lake District ) will be the venue for the Rival Arts May Fair on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May 2013.

Two, large marquees with power will be erected in the newly refurbished stable courtyard...

And the Clock tower restaurant will serve delicious homemade food all weekend.

Work is still on-going in the Castle itself, restoring and consolidating the building with traditional materials and skilled craftsmen,

Yet parts have been ideal for atmospheric fashion shoots.

The extensive gardens offer the chance to discover different "rooms"....not manicured, but open to exploration of how they once were in days gone by.

With woods, hidden ponds, summerhouses and terrific views over Cumbria.... Lowther Castle is a magical place to visit, having been hidden away to the public for 70 years.

The Christmas Fair @ Hexham 2012 is this weekend, Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th November

At Wentworth Leisure Centre, Hexham, Northumberland NE46 3PD

Admission FREE   (voluntary donations to Rival Arts chosen charity....The Great North Air Ambulance would, as always, be most welcome)

Lots to see, taste and buy with over 130 stands in the indoor marquee and ancillary rooms

A great place to do your Christmas shopping....all under one roof, warm and dry, with the huge Wentworth car park right outside. 

Finally, we are not sure who will be "meeting and greeting" at the entrance this weekend....it could be Caspar the spectacled owl....

Or Sneugal the Snowy Owl.....

So why not come along and see...... tooo wit tooo whoo it will be?

The Christmas Fair @ Durham returns for its third year at New College, Durham, DH1 5ES (located just north of the City centre) on,

 Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th November. 

Open 10am to 4pm daily

Admission FREE and huge FREE car park on site.

With a diverse mix of Gifts, Crafts, Art and Food....120 stands will meander their way through the main College building...and the Costa Coffee Shop will be open all weekend serving good coffee, sandwiches and cakes.

The Autumn Fair @ Rheged....

The Autumn Fair @ Rheged Centre, Penrith, Cumbria, CA11 0DQ returns for the 5th year to this ever popular North Lakes, visitor centre on  
Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st October 2012

Situated just off the M6 motorway close to the busy market town of Penrith.

 Two exhibition halls will once again play host to a diverse mix of Arts, Crafts, Gifts and Food....

And the creative, Cool crafting workshops will be available for young and old alike throughout the weekend.

 Admission to The Autumn Fair is FREE.... however, voluntary donations as always to the Great North Air Ambulance ( Rival Arts chosen charity ) would be most welcome.

Rival Arts return to Wentworth Leisure Centre, Hexham, Northumberland this weekend for the Summer Fair in the indoor marquee..... now in its 4th year.

FREE entry to the Fair..... however a donation to the Rival Arts charity.... The Great North Air Ambulance for their invaluable work in our region would be most welcome.

Ample car parking in the Wentworth car park and good public transport links with the train and bus stations just a few minutes walk away.

And a short walk to the town centre, should you wish to combine a visit to this historic market town
